International collaborations

VESMIS aims to work in close collaboration with existing organizations involved in veterinary surgery and endoscopic techniques. The Society is intended to complement, not replace, the activities of established professional bodies. In particular, VESMIS seeks to promote dialogue and cooperation with international societies dedicated to veterinary endoscopy and minimally invasive surgery, as well as with specialist training organizations in veterinary surgery.

VESMIS recognizes the important role played by established organizations such as the Veterinary Endoscopy Society and the European College of Veterinary Surgeons in the development of veterinary surgery and endoscopic techniques and does not aim to duplicate their missions. VESMIS welcomes opportunities for collaboration, joint scientific initiatives, and educational activities with these organizations. The Society does not provide specialist certification or professional accreditation.
